RAFT is well known for its annual Clay Pigeon Shoot in June. Running for over a decade now, this successful event is thoroughly enjoyed by our guests and enables RAFT to secure funding for our vital research.
This annual event is held in memory of a much valued friend and supporter, Alan Gaynor, who tragically died in a burns accident.
Our teams enjoy the day so much that they return year after year and lend their support to help us raise funds for our vital burns and wound healing research.
The venue - the renowned Holland & Holland Shooting Ground in Northwood, Middlesex - offers an almost unlimited variety of targets catering for both the novice and the most experienced shot. The excellent instructors are able to coax the very best from our guests.
We are delighted to report that our 2011 event, in its 14th year raised about £100,000 for our Wound Healing research.
