Without the support of people like you, RAFT would no longer be able to carry out its lifesaving research. Our research is expensive and we have to pay for all of the specialised skills and equipment we use, so we really need your help.
Here at RAFT we’re grateful for all the donations we receive – no matter how large or small. Whether you’re donating as an individual or making a corporate donation on behalf of your company or organisation, rest assured that your support will help RAFT’s scientists transform the lives of patients suffering from severe burns, wounds and skin cancer.
· Around 112,000 patients treated in hospital for burns each year means -
“There is an urgent need to develop really effective treatments for wounds involving the loss or destruction of skin”
· 20,000 patients suffer chronic wounds with a 1:50 lifetime risk of developing an ulcer which means -
“There is a huge problem of chronic wounds, were the body’s normal healing is impaired”
· The NHS spends £3 billion a year caring for patients suffering with wounds which means-
“There is a huge change to normal everyday life for those who have traumatic wounds”

The future of RAFT’s research is very much dependent on funding. We need to raise £1 million per year in order to carry out our current projects, so please help us in whatever way you can, with your help we CAN do it.
