We’d love your Company to support RAFT and help us achieve our aims. There are many ways to get involved and help raise funds for RAFT to carry out its vital research.
Why not choose RAFT as your 'Charity of the Year'? We would be delighted to work with you and your staff, and we have lots of great ideas about how to make the year a positive and fun experience for everyone.
For instance, by encouraging your staff to fundraise on behalf of RAFT, you can motivate staff and boost internal communications. For a few ideas, see our A-Z Guide to Fundraising.
Alternatively, you could promote a ‘Give as you Earn’ scheme, encouraging your employees to donate to RAFT through a simple and tax-effective method.
Another popular idea is to introduce 'Matched Giving', whereby your company pledges to match the funds raised for RAFT by your employees, or to provide a donation for their efforts.
Sponsorship is an ideal way to link your Company to a great charity such as RAFT. We are always honoured to acknowledge your support, so your Company will also benefit through publicity and brand exposure. You could choose to:
Did you know that UK companies can claim tax relief on their donations when calculating profits for assessment of Corporation Tax? To give through Gift Aid, your Company just gives the donation to charity. The Company does not deduct any tax from the donation and does not need to make a Gift Aid declaration to the charity. Tax relief is given by deducting the amount of the donation from profits before calculating the Corporation Tax. In the case of partners or for those who are self-employed, Gift Aid details should be entered on your self-assessment form for the tax year in which the gift was made.
“It’s clear our guests have a great day at RAFT's Clay Pigeon Shoot, not just from their comments but by their return the following year with their own teams! Most importantly it’s great that the day does so much to support a charity as worthy as RAFT”
