Amanda joined RAFT in 2001 having previously worked for the BBC. As well as co-managing the fundraising team, she plays a key role leading some of our high profile events such as the Valentine Ball and The 999 Dinner.
Christine Miles
Senior Fundraising Manager
Christine has been with RAFT since 1997 having spent most of her career at Glaxo. She is part of the management team and plays her part in raising the £1m needed to run RAFT's research programme. In the last 8 years she has helped to make RAFT's Annual Clay Pigeon Shoot a great success by creating a fun experience for some of RAFT's major donors.
Mary Pearmain BSc (Hons) ACA
Accountant
Mary joined RAFT in 2007, having previously worked at Fosters Brewing Group. Her job role includes both legal and accounting matters for both RAFT the Charity and its associated company RAFT Enterprises Ltd.
Dr Khwaja Islam BSc MSc D. Phil
Laboratory Manager/Health & Safety Officer
Having previously worked at University of Oxford, Khwaja began working at RAFT in 2007. Khwaja is responsible for overseeing the running of RAFT's laboratories, ensuring our scientists are working in a safe environment.
